hi! I'm Megan Anderson

My goal is to help you feel more comfortable in your body.

I’m Megan (she/her), Registered Dietitian and owner of Satisfy Nourish Love, PLCC. I am dedicated to helping people find peace with their bodies and heal their relationship with food. I know how a stressful relationship with food can impact your life in all areas. It doesn’t have to be that way. I believe nutrition should be individualized. There is no one size fits all when it comes to what to eat.

I completed both my master’s degree in nutrition and my dietetic internship at University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to becoming a dietitian, I taught elementary school.

I live in Chicago with my husband and three kids. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me baking cookies with my kids, curled up with a great book, or running along the lakefront. Originally from California, I’ve called Chicago home for nearly 15 years, but I still enjoy being a tourist in this amazing city.

My Misson

I want you enjoy satisfying foods, to feel at home in your body, and to trust your ability to feed yourself. I strive to take a compassionate approach in creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space. Together, we will explore your relationship with food and work on strengthening your connection with your body.

Eating Disorder Recovery

Are you sick of trying one diet after another? I use an Intuitive Eating approach that eliminates diets and helps you tune into your body’s internal cues. I will help you to find freedom with food and allow yourself to enjoy eating again! I practice from a Health At Every Size framework to help you improve your health without having weight as a target.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, stepping down from a higher level of care, or maybe you’re not even sure where to begin, I am here to support you. I incorporate Intuitive Eating in eating disorder care to help create an individualized approach to your treatment.

Whether you're an elite athlete or a weekend warrior, nutrition plays a key role in your performance. Proper fueling not only helps you perform at your best, but also ensures you feel your best after training. It can also help reduce injury, prevent GI issues, and improve sleep. We'll address all of these aspects while ensuring flexibility and freedom with food. I also specialize in helping athletes recover from Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S).
